Lauren Alaina Set to Release Road Less Traveled on January 27

Lauren Alaina releases her brand new album, Road Less Traveled, on Mercury Nashville / 19 / Interscope Records on January 27.  Alaina, showing her evolution as a songwriter since her No. 1-debuting first album, Wildflower, co-wrote all 12 songs on the new album including her current Top 20 single and title track, “Road Less Traveled.”

In “Road Less Traveled,” a triumphant anthem written with Meghan Trainor and Jesse Frasure, Alaina’s empowering message of embracing your own individuality is made even more poignant by her impressive vocals. The music video for the inspiring hit brings Lauren’s own emotional journey of self-acceptance to life.

The highly-anticipated and highly personal album was produced by the award-winning busbee (Lady Antebellum, Maren Morris, Keith Urban). From start to finish, Alaina shares the complexities of her life with sophistication and personality.

“I am so excited to get this album out,” shares Alaina.  “I wrote for it for three and a half years. I’ve grown so much as a person, a songwriter and an artist in that time. These songs are a true representation of who I am, where I’ve been and where I’m going. This album has pushed me to accept who I am and be 100% honest about it. Road Less Traveled is truly ME.  I can’t wait to share my stories, my music and myself with the world.”
