Lee Greenwood and Sawyer Brown are coming to Ashland County Fair

on

It’s like getting two shows for the price of one when Lee Greenwood and Sawyer Brown come to the Ashland County Fair on Tuesday, September 18.

“The real deal here is, these are two different performers,” said Steve Englet, manager of the Ashland County Fair. “They’re not performing together, but that price is for both shows. That’s a big deal.”

The show will begin at 7pm with Greenwood, who will perform for about an hour. Then after a one-hour intermission, Sawyer Brown will take the stage.

Lee Greenwood has been in the top five of the country singles charts three times with “God Bless The U.S.A. — in 1991, 2001 and 2003 — making it the only song in any musical genre to achieve that feat. It was also No. 1 on the pop charts after 9/11.

With more than 30 albums to his credit, Greenwood has had seven No. 1 songs. Some of his other hits include “It Turns Me Inside Out,” “Touch & Go Crazy” and “Dixie Road.”

Sawyer Brown has released 23 albums and have charted more than 50 singles including “The Walk,” “Some Girls Do,” and “Thank God for You.” They recently performed in the area in January at the Mansfield Renaissance Theatre.

Lee Greenwood and Sawyer Brown will be performing on Tuesday, September 18 at the Ashland County Fair in Ashland, Ohio. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $20 for regular grandstand seating and $25 for track, bleacher and block seats in the grandstand. ($2 fee will be added to all credit card orders.) In addition to the ticket prices, all attendees will also have to pay the $5 gate fee for the fair (Age 10 and under are FREE).

Tickets will go on sale this Saturday (March 3) at 8am at Ashland County Fair Office, online at www.ashlandcountyfair.com or call 419-289-0466.
