Members: Aaron Flynt – Lead Vocals; Rob Heutsche – Lead Guitar/Vocals; Kaylee Kainrad – Guitar/Vocals; Dave Hillyer – Bass/Vocals; Bob Herro – Keyboard; Kenny James – Drums.
About the band: 100 Proof originally formed in early 2014 with Heutsche, Kainrad and Flynt, Hillyer joined shortly after and Herro, formerly of Dixie Soul, brought his keyboard talent to the group last year. Their newest member of the band is James on drums.
The band definitely likes to have fun on stage, but also makes the distinction that they are not just another Country band playing Top 40 hits. 100 Proof plays songs from Waylon to Garth, Hank Jr. to Lynyrd, and Kid to Strait and keeps the dance floor jumpin’ with their High Octane Country mix. They have played shows at venues including the Empire Concert Club, KC’s Nashville Nights and the Wagon Wheel and are always adding new shows to their 2017 schedule appropriately titled the Bar Burnin’ Tour.
Why you should see their show: 100 Proof has a great time on stage and likes to entertain the crowd with their music and adds some humor to their performances. The band of six members get along great which works well in their on-stage antics, while always including the crowd in the fun. They have been known to not only play great dance music, but will occasionally have a band member jump on the floor to join in on a line dance or show off some freestyle moves. The band wants everyone to have as much fun as they are. In addition to their Country and Southern Rock influences in their sets, the group will throw in some surprises with classic favorites from The Eagles, Billy Joel or Jimmy Buffet.
