When Luke Bryan played Progressive Field on Saturday there were tens of thousands of fans waiting to see him perform. But, Bryan had one special person to meet before the show, 9-year-old Addi Keegan, who is fighting an aggressive brain tumor. Addi is one of Bryan’s biggest fans and had said that she loves him with “9,999 hearts and stars.”
A Special Wish Cleveland got involved and was working on making Addi’s dream to meet Bryan come true when he performed in Cleveland.
Weeks before the concert it looked as if Addi might not be able to attend. So, A Special Wish Cleveland decided to bring Country Redford to her backyard to perform some of Luke Bryan’s biggest hits. The local Country group performed an intimate show for Addi, her family and friends.
Keegan was well enough and able to attend the concert at Progressive Field, so A Special Wish Cleveland put the plans to meet Bryan back into action.
Addi and her family traveled to Progressive Field in a limo and then got a chance to spend some time with Bryan backstage before his performance on the Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day Tour. Addi let Bryan know how his music is “magic” to her and that her favorite song is “Play it Again.”
When Bryan got ready to sing “Play it Again” during the concert, he took time to introduce the 9-year-old and dedicated the song it to her. Addi sat watching and then sang along to every word.
Best wishes to Addi and the Keegan family. We are all your biggest fans now.
