Luke Combs brings St. Jude Kid onstage and crowd to tears

on

Luke Combs brings many emotions to listeners with his music, and at his show on October 3 at the Show Me Center at Missouri State University he brought the crowd to tears. Combs saw a boy in the crowd with a sign that read “This St. Jude Kid Loves You.” The boy, Hudson, was then brought on stage where he was greetaed by a bear hug from the singer.

“I asked Hudson when I had him, I said, ‘Hey it’s pretty scary up here isn’t it?’ and he said ‘Yeah,'” Combs shared with the audience. “And I said, ‘Do you want to stay or do you want to go?’ and he said that he wanted to stay, so I’m gonna send this one out to you tonight buddy and you’re gonna stay right here.”

Combs then went on to dedicate “This One’s For You” to Hudson. At the direction of Combs, Hudson first started to walk the stage and high five those in the front row. He then took a spot next to Combs and his emotions just poured out.

The fan shot video can be watched below and shows that not only is Combs one hell of a performer, but he’s got a heart of gold.

Combs’ album, What You See Is What You Get will drop on November 8 and he will bring his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour to a Sold Out Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on November 16 and headlines The Country Fest in North Lawrence, Ohio, next June.
