Morgan Wallen Arrested on Felony Charges in Nashville

on

Morgan Wallen was charged with three felonies stemming from an incident that happened at Eric Church’s new bar on Broadway in Nashville on Sunday night (April 7). The incident involved Waqllen throwing a chair from the six-story building and onto the heavily traveled street below and missing two Nashville Metro Police standing nearby.

According to the arrest report, the 30-year-old singer was at Chief’s Bar on Sunday and staff told police that Wallen was responsible for throwing the chair from the sixth story of the establishment. Officers say video confirmed Wallen was, “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.”

Witnesses told officers that Wallen laughed afterward. He was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment for the two officers who were in the vicinity and for danger to the public. Wallen was also charged with disorderly conduct.

He posted a bond of $15,250 and he’ll be in court on May 3rd. Wallen was already planning to be in Nashville that day for a concert.

Wallen’s attorney Worrick Robinson released a statement earlier this morning confirming Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville and that he is cooperating fully with authorities.
