on

Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time has broken the record for the most weeks spent at #1 on the Billboard 200 for a country album. A record that has stood for over 30 years. As Billboard reports, with this past week’s chart (March 16), One Thing At A Time has had 19 nonconsecutive weeks in the top spot, surpassing Garth Brooks’ Ropin’ The Wind, which spent 18 nonconsecutive weeks at #1 between 1991 and 1992.

One Thing at a Time earned 68,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending March 7 (up less than 1%), according to Luminate.

One Thing At A Time continues to have the most weeks at No. 1 among all albums since Adele’s 21 lrecorded 24 nonconsecutive weeks at the top of the chart in 2011-12.

One Thing At A Time made it’s debut at the top of the chart on March 18, 2023. It spent its first 12 weeks at #1, and has been in and out of the top spot since then, with single-week runs in October, January, and February. It’s never gone below #6 in the 53 charts (weeks) that it has appeared on.

One Thing at a Time ended 2023 as both the #1 year-end Billboard 200 album and Luminate’s year-end top album.
