Ryan Robinette is a Small Town Boy Ready to Make it Big

on

There is that Hollywood story line where a small town boy makes it big. For Ryan Robinette that story line is his life.

Robinette is from Senecaville, Ohio, where the population is around 450 people. He moved to Nashville recently chasing that dream of becoming a big name in Country music and his dream might one day be reality. His debut video for his song “For Awhile” from his debut album Progression has had over 2.7 million views since it’s release and made it to the Top 10 on the VEVO video chart. The single was also picked by Spotify’s Global Head of Country Music, John Marks and has been featured on their “New Boots” playlist and has been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify alone. The song was also added to major country playlists for Spotify Canada and Spotify Australia & New Zealand.

Robinette grew up playing sports and music and by the age of 14 was fronting bands and working as a solo act until he headed off to college. During his college days Robinette focused more on the books and less on music, but he didn’t take him long to realize that his passion was singing and performing.

Robinette has been performing at songwriter’s festivals and shows with some of Country music’s best singers and songwriters including Brett Eldredge, Jake Owen, Jana Kramer, Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, Frankie Ballard, A Thousand Horses and many others. We first caught up with him when he performed at Country Night Lights in Athens, Ohio last fall and he just performed along with Trent Tomlinson and Kasey Tyndall for Whiskey Jam in Nashville.

The small town boy with big city dreams is already planning on his next videofor the single “Proof Is On Your Lips.”
