WGAR Country Jam 2018

on

The Country Jam celebrates it’s 27th year on Saturday, August 18 with some of the biggest names in country music, as well as, up and coming stars. The event has become a tradition for Northeast Ohio and this year’s event takes place at it’s longest tenured home at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

The Country Jam first began in 1992 with an event at Voinovich Park in Downtown Cleveland and the reaction from attendees was filled with enthusiasm and appreciation. The scope of the event quickly grew and it was moved to the fairgrounds in Berea the next summer. Through the years the Country Jam, which was originally called the Cleveland Country Music Fest, has had a few different locations. It was moved to the IX Center for a few years and spent one summer at the Black River Landing in Lorain before coming back to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.
