Originally formed: The band started in November of 2011 as a Sugarland Tribute Band and played their first show at First Night Canfield on New Year’s Eve 2011-2012
Members: Amanda Jones – Lead Vocals and Songwriter; Michael Myhal – Acoustic Guitar/Vocals and Booking: Brittany Fenstermaker – Keys/Vocals; David Frame- Electric Guitar; Nathan Fenstermaker – Bass; Frank McDougal – Drums.
About the Band: The Yougstown, Ohio based band performs a unique mix of modern country, 90’s country, original country, and country-fied versions of popular songs today. They have performed at The Stark Country Fair, Flat Out Fridays at The Cleveland Flats, Steel Horse Music Festival, Zanafest Music Festival, Wheeling Jamboree, Portage County Fair and most recently at the Cleveland Winterfest on the main stage at Public Square. The band has also been the featured entertainment on Fox 8 News Cleveland.
Why you should see their show: When it comes to their live shows, the band considers themselves entertainers, and not just musicians. Their show encourages people in the crowd to participate in the music and not just be spectators. “We may be called the family band because a good deal of us in the band are family, but we believe that everyone in the audience is a part of our family. It’s that connection that drives what we do on stage and leads to a memorable night of fun and camaraderie,” said Amanda Jones.
As for their original music, it’s a good mix of modern country sound quality with 90’s country storytelling and thoughtfully crafted lyrics that make it something that can be enjoyed by all country lovers, past and present.
