The 2nd annual Bash On The Bay will bring Rascal Flatts, Joe Nichols, Chris Lane and Corey Farley Band to the stage at the Put-In-Bay Airport on Thursday, August 30. The festival still has another act to be added to the roster that will be announced soon.
Rascal Flatts, who originally formed in Columbus, will be spending a lot of time in Northern Ohio this summer as they bring the “Back To Us Tour” to Blossom Music Center on August 17 and then return to perform at the Bash On The Bay two weeks later.
The one-day country music festival will take place at the Put-In-Bay Airport with gates opening at 3pm and the first act hits the stage at 3:30pm.
“Last year we proved that Put-in-Bay and the Shores & Islands region can put on an amazing show,” stated festival organizer Tim Niese. “Being able to secure a multi-award-winning group like Rascal Flatts will help us make this year’s festival bigger and better than ever.”
Tickets for the festival are $69-$175 and go on sale on Friday, April 20 at etix.com. A special Rascal Flatts “Take Me There” VIP experience ticket will be available for $399 and a VIP Ticket which allows you access to all of the VIP areas at the festival are $269. Overnight ticket packages will also be available.
Miller Ferry and Jet Express will provide late-night boat service to and from Put-in-Bay the day of the festival. There is limited car parking, but ample parking for golf carts at the airport. After the event taxis and the downtown bus will be staged at the north end of the runway to transport concert attendee’s downtown. Food trucks will also be on site with a wide array of menu choices.
