Chris Kraft Returns to Dusty Armadillo with Full Band

on

Dusty Armadillo has a long history of hosting sold out shows from Eric Church, Chase Rice and Craig Morgan and last year local favorite Chris Kraft equaled the fete with his show for a capacity crowd. In doing so, Kraft became the only local artist to ever sell out the legendary Rootstown country venue.

Kraft has been performing his music for years acoustically, and in the past year has opened for Joe Nichols and Jerrod Niemann, but he hasn’t performed with a full group on stage for over a decade. When he returns to Dusty Armadillo on July 14, that will all change as he brings a band made up of some great musicians with resumes performing all over the country.

The group that Kraft has assembled consists of Daniel Grey on lead guitar and vocals, Brian Briggs on bass, Eric Szijj on drums and Raj Ghahremani on fiddle.

Grey is a Nashville house musician that sits in with regularly with some of the best on Broadway and Briggs, Szijj and Ghahremani have all performed with national touring acts.

Of course, Kraft will be on lead vocals and play acoustic guitar on songs that can range from his originals to covers of everyone from Charlie Daniels to Bone Thugs N Harmony. To say that he likes to put on a fun and eclectic show is a definite understatement and his show at Dusty Armadillo will be one that you won’t want to miss.

Chris Kraft will be performing at Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown on Saturday, July 14 with special guest Erin Stoll. Doors open at 7pm; Erin Stoll at 9pm and Chris Kraft at 10pm. Tickets are $5 for 21 and over; $10 for 18-20 and available while they last at DustyA.com.
