Country’s 2018 Grammy Award Nominees

on

The nominees for the 2018 Grammy Awards were announced with some of country music’s biggest stars leading the way in the genre. Chris Stapleton, who has been no stranger to awards shows, is back with a nod in country’s Album, Song and Solo Performance categories. Allison Krauss received a nomination in the Country Solo Performance for “Losing You” and one for American Roots Performance with “I Never Cared For You,” both from her solo Windy City album. Reba McEntire is a nominee in a non-country category with her nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album with Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope.

Country music didn’t receive any representation in what are the four biggest categories – Album, Song, Record and Best New Artist of the Year.

The 60th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, January 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The show will be hosted by James Corden and broadcast live on the CBS network.
