About the band: Wreck’n may have only formed in August of 2016, but the group has already begun to make a name for themselves. The members are some familiar faces on the local scene with over 100 years of combined experience and perform a mix of current Country with classic Country and plenty of songs for the line dancers. Their slogan of “Cowboy Boots and Rock-n-Roll Roots” says a lot about the soul of the group and their live shows.
The group has been playing shows and festivals in Northeast Ohio and was invited to perform for the WGAR Browns Tailgate Parties at Tequila Ranch in Downtown Cleveland. They will head out to Mentor to perform at the first car show at Mentor Headlands in May, the Euclid Summer Concert Series in July and the Rogues Hollow Festival in August. In addition to performing covers the group is currently working on their own original material.
Why you should see their show: Wreck’n brings a sense of a rock and roll show to their performances with their great vocals, shredding on guitar, powerful drums and some sweet harmonies. The band prides themselves in performing quality covers that are definitely high on entertainment value. Lead singer Masterson knows how to work a crowd and get everyone into the music they are playing and provides a solid foundation for the band. Wreck’n also doesn’t disappoint when it comes to their sound with some of the best equipment and a stellar light show, too.
