Willie Nelson Brings Outlaw Music Festival to Blossom

Most 90-year-olds aren’t traveling across the country performing in over 30 different cities on a concert tour. But for Willie Nelson it’s just another chapter of life for a nonagenarian.

Nelson will bring his 2023 Outlaw Music Festival to Blossom Music Center on Friday, August 11.

The festival features Willie Nelson & Family, along with former Creedence Clearwater Revival front man John Fogerty and pop singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards. Also performing at Blossom will be Texas-based Americana sextet Flatland Cavalry and Particle Kid, (a.k.a Micah Nelson, son of Willie).

“I can’t wait to be on the road with the amazing group of artists joining us on this year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour” stated Nelson. “It is always a great day of music and fun with family, friends and the incredible fans, and even more special this year in celebration of my 90th birthday.”

The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival made it’s debut in 2016 in Scranton, PA. The sold-out show was so well received that Nelson and Blackbird Presents developed it into one of North America’s biggest annual touring franchises.

In addition to the Outlaw Festival, Nelson has had a very busy year. He won a 2022 Grammy for best country album and is a 2023 nominee for induction into Cleveland’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.. Nelson also has a five-part documentary about his life and career, “Willie Nelson & Family,” that debuted at the 2023 Sundance Festival, and he has a new album, “I Don’t Know a Thing About Love,” dedicated to the songs of Harlan Howard.

Tickets are still available at Live Nation and OutlawMusicFestival.com.
