Zach Bryan And Kacey Musgraves Both Score Their Very First #1 on Billboard Hot 100

on

Congratulations are in order for Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves, who both scored their first Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit on the all-genre chart with their collaboration on “I Remember Everything,” from Bryan’s self-titled fourth studio album, which made it’s debut on the Biillboard Hot 200 Albums chart  recently-released self-titled album, which also made it’s debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart last week.

Luke Combs sets a new record for most weeks at #2 without reaching the top spot with his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”

“I Remember Everything” also debuts at #1 on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart (notably, it snagged the top spot on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist upon its release) and #4 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales.

The accomplishment seems even more unlikely when you find out that Musgraves recorded the song while she had full-blown strep throat.

“I Remember Everything” also opens at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts (as well as Hot Rock Songs), which use the same calculations as the Hot 100. It’s the first song to top the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (dating to 2009, when the list began).
