Zach Bryan was arrested earlier today in Vinita, Oklahoma and booked into custody in the Craig County Jail. Bryan currently resides in Tulsa.
According to TMZ Bryan was picked up at 6:42 p.m. and booked. He was charged with “Obstruction of Investigation,” and released on bond, but no further details have been released about the incident.
It was announced earlier today that Bryan is nominated for the CMA Award for New Artist of the Year.
Bryan released the following statement on X this evening (Sept. 7).
Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said.
