Cassadee Pope will headline the inaugural Sandusky Shores MusicFest on Saturday, August 18 at Sports Force Park in Sandusky. The Country Music line up will also include Matt Stillwell, Jessica Hannan, Christian Kaser along with Nashville songwriters Lynn Hutton, Brent Anderson and Tammi Kidd.
Pope’s rise to fame started with her appearance on NBC’s The Voice, where she was the first female winner of the singing competition in 2012. She released, Frame by Frame in 2013 which made it’s debut at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and produced the Top 5 single, “Wasting All These Tears.”
In 2016, Pope collaborated with Chris Young on “Think of You” for his album, I’m Comin’ Over. The song became her first #1 and the platinum selling single was nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the Grammy Awards in 2017.
Earlier this month she released “One More Red Light,” which is the second song from Pope’s upcoming album release. It follows the fun and upbeat “Take You Home,” which has had more than 8 million streams since its release.
“The idea for “One More Red Light” came from the excitement of connecting with someone that you’re getting to know,” said Pope in a press release. “It’s such a fun and unpredictable time, and if it’s going THAT well, you just don’t want the night to end, so the story I’m telling between ‘Take You Home’ and ‘One More Red Light’ is about hope and vulnerability.”
The new project comes after a tough time of change for the singer. In 2017 her engagement with Rian Dawson, drummer with All Time Low ended and she left her record label and management team.
“This is a whole new chapter in my life. I absolutely dive into the darker times on some of the other tracks coming for this project, but I wanted to start the story here.”

Cassadee Pope will be performing at the Sandusky Shores MusicFest at Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center (3115 Cleveland Road, Sandusky, Ohio 44870).
